Yuri

Yuri is Gennady’s right hand. His twisted, cunning mind and sadistic inclinations are well-known in the London underground.
Yuri was born to a well-off Russian family, but was not interested in the bright future his parents had planned for him. What young Yuri dreamed about was the glamour and excitement of a gangster’s life. He wanted to be one of them – slick, scary-looking men driving expensive cars, with pockets filled with cash and guns hidden under their designer jackets. Also, even in his youth, Yuri was a manipulative bully for no better reason than sheer fun of it.
At the age of 20, after an unsuccessful attempt to appease his parent by starting business studies, Yuri was recruited by the Family. His childhood dream thus began to materialise. He was quickly noticed among the recruits – a cheeky boy with some education under his belt and a head full of ideas. In addition to that, his ruthlessness impressed even the most hardened of his colleagues.
He took a fast track to the upper tiers of Family’s hierarchy. Since he spoke good English, he was sent to the UK to help Gennady eradicate the local competition. Gennady thinks very highly of Yuri’s skills, but keeps his cruelty under control, unleashing it only when necessary. Yuri, on the other hand, has learnt a lot by observing Gennady at work. He still remains loyal to his mentor, but they both know that a time will come for Gennady to retire. Sergey, being such a disappointment, is hardly suitable for taking his father’s place. If not him, then who else but Yuri?
Interesting character! I think Giennadij will prefer Yurij to replace him than his own son. I wonder how will react Sergey. Do you think he wants to be the successor of
his father?
I must admit that Yuri has the appearance of a criminal. I think that may appear in a few scenes.
Hey, maybe Sergey will take Genaddy’s position and Yuri will kill him, because he deserves it more than Sergey?
I think that it will be one of my favourites character. And he is very good looking.
It could be. Yuri knows better all the business. I think he would be able to kill Sergey, it would not be the first nor the last person he will eliminate. But the question is whether he’ll ever have to do anything. Do you think Sergey want to replace his father and will do it?
In my opinion he is not handsome. Maybe because I do not like guys with a beard :) Yuri is a strong, cunning man who is the right hand Gennady from whom he learned a lot.
I doubt Sergey killed Yuri. Sergey is a person who does not use violence – which can not be said about Yuri. I’m just curious whether Yuri will be able to kill the son of his boss … What do you think?
Wow, real Russian gangster! I hope I see him near Gennady and Vlad –> that will be essence of mafia style! :D In Olive Green movie it is many teams like this – Murray and his Bodyguards, Cloutier, and of course David and police in opposition. Hm? :D
