SuperMemo meets Ekstasy

London, Westminster. Having discussed various film ideas with Ekstasy over the last couple of months, we finally arranged a meeting in the heart of London to take our concepts further. Represented by Krzysztof and I, SuperMemo met with Mike, company’s executive director and producer, Nico, head of post-production & special effects, and Rachel, head of illustration and storyboarding.

Although we came to London having a green screen production in mind (as we thought it would be easier to make and more cost-efficient), when we started discussing it in detail and when we watched some sample videos made by the producer, the whole idea developed into a real feature film shot on real locations. It goes without saying that such an approach will definitely create a more captivating experience for the audience and take the production up to a different level. On the other hand, this will also mean a new, more challenging way of approaching the scriptwriting process, as it will entail working on a proper film script.

Excited with the possibility of producing a spectacular feature film to support language learning, we have decided to cooperate with Ekstasy on creating several film concepts to see what type of plot we would find the most interesting and most suitable for developing into a complete script.
